Team Performance Award

This project involves setting a benchmark for the participants’ own organisation. What difference does good collaboration make, how can we achieve even greater synergies? The Team Performance Award recognises the best team performance in direct comparison with other departments or branches of the organisation.

On three individual training days, the teams devise improvements for daily collaboration within the context of the following topics:

  • effective communication
  • moderation skills and creativity
  • value-creating allocation of responsibilities
  • mutual aid and support
  • process planning and optimisation

Then they prepare for the competition. Her, they pit themselves directly against one another. It is not about speed, but effectiveness and efficiency: i.e. team performance beyond professional competence. Every task is accompanied by trainers who record their observations using behaviour anchors.

We assume that the behaviour patterns and tools rehearsed for the competition – for example, team feedbacks – will be incorporated into the everyday work scenario without deliberately staged transfers thanks to the positive results. The Award also motivates people to learn from each other – it makes good team performance visible in the company. And that’s not all. As a large-scale, identity-building project it will ultimately contribute to better collaboration in the organisation as a whole.
